We had our "Mermaid" class yesterday and once again, these women
jumped right into the project.
NO FEAR!!!

For the sake of time, I pre-made templates for them to cut out and paint.
They made the water backgrounds, painted the bodies hair and faces.

The project required acrylic paints, spray inks, tissue paper,
painted paper towels, drawing and painting with
several different size paint brushes.
Did I mention NO FEAR!

The tails were made from paper towels that were painted. Some girls added some glitter!

I LOVE their background work. It really has the feel of water.
The "bubbles" floating around are for journal entries.

This was a huge project for a 3 hour class, so there all were going home to finish their pieces.
They'd better!!!   'girrrrrrrrr'
:)
Yes, we have homework.

This last one hadn't been put together yet. These are the separate pieces.
Doesn't the tail look like two dolphins swimming together? Hey!
Maybe this is a another new project!!

Thank you again ladies! You are the best.
