mortar art





I love concrete. Mostly cemetery angels, but they are hard to locate.
Some day I will go on a field trip, to Europe (because that is where
the best concrete angels are) and take photographs.
In the mean time, I'm taking pictures in my mom's yard, my yard,
and my living room.
Why does this sound so depressing, or is it just me?

Savannah has the most interesting cemetery with lots of angels statues "the Bonaventure Cemetery"
that would be a fun trip,,,

not depressing at all...brought a beautiful angel back from visiting my dad in jax, fl this last time and I love it dearly..have always loved the beautiful stones in cemeteries...you are not alone on that one Jan Scott

Another beautiful cemetery in the the south is The Metarie Cemetery outside of downtown New Orleans. Some of the most beautiful statuary and monuments I have seen this side of Isola di San Michele Venice. Have you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year - Ronda
