Let me start by apologizing for my pictures. I took them off of my computer screen. The reason I've posted these is because I've never (ever) heard of this breed. They are called "Gypsy Vanner".

As a kid I fantasised about owning a horse like this.
The horse breed was started in 1996 and they have just recently started importing them.

The breed is distinguished by their long, thick manes and the "feathers" on their legs.

Wow, I'm hooked. We always had Quarter Horses. They are magnificent also, but not as wild looking as the Gypsy Vanner.
