getting ready for Christmas
Christmas is fast approaching!
I can't tell you how happy I am that we are
no longer in retail. For so many years we spent the entire
holiday season working the long hours, 7 days a week. Now I have
time for decorating!

So, for the past week and half, I've been getting out the bulbs, ribbons &
shinys. The tree is up ( leaning a bit too far forward...) and little touches
are filling up every corner of the house. It is a lot of work for just
few weeks, but I think it certainly is worth it.

I used to work at a florist and then at a garden center, where we put the trees and holiday decor up by the end of October, so by the time Christmas got here I was so tired of it that I couldn't seem to enjoy it. I am SO glad I'm not in retail anymore.
