Such a sweet new package!

Welcome to the world sweet little Maeve.

My boss had a baby girl this last Monday. They named her
"Maeve Elizabeth Robitailli".
She is the sweetest and prettiest little package of
snuggly, soft sweetness!
She has a full head of black hair and tiny little fingers, weighing in at
a very respectable 8 pounds, 2 ounces.

She has an older sister, Leah.

Oh, what an adorable older sister she is! The above picture is Leah's hand,
with her new baby sister's hand on top.
Leah is only 3 and a half, but little Maeve is so tiny!!

No wonder she is such a pretty baby.

The above picture is her handsome daddy. There is something so cool
about that full sleeve tattoo, holding that tiny baby.

The other reason she's such a pretty baby.

Here is mommy Liz, showing big sister Leah, the new baby.

A sweet first few minutes with "her" new baby.

I love the awe in Leah's face.

She is so amazed that this little bundle is going home with her!

A huge congratulations to Liz, Tom and Leah
on the newest, tiny addition to their family.

She is most precious.

Stone angels

My love of stone angels.

The above photo was taken in the Newnan, Georgia cemetery.

The following photos were all taken at the Oakland Cemetery,
in Atlanta, Georgia.

One of my 'bucket list' desires is to buy a vintage pull behind trailer. Id dress it up in shabby chic whites, creams and beige's with a hanging crystal chandelier over the table. I'd load it up with my art supplies and camera and travel around the United States painting, visiting friends (and making new ones) see the country and visit as many cemeteries as possible to take pictures of the angels.

Happy Mother's Day

Alex ~ perfect score of 10
Weight Watchers ~ big loss for the day.
:)

Our very sweet and thoughtful son cooked me dinner tonight.
We are dining on linguine and clam sauce, salad and wine. I can't explain
on my blog here, how delicious this meal was. He's not even Italian!
Flowers, cards and dinner. I feel very loved.

Happy Mother's Day to all my friends and family that are fortunate enough,
to still have their mother's here on this earth.
To those who's mother's have passed on, we celebrate them
and the beauty they brought here while still with us.
Today was your day.

Again, Happy Mother's Day

My trip to Newnan!

I spent some time in Newnan Georgia a few weeks ago. What a wonderful little city!
I would LOVE to buy a small home there, for a getaway spot.
uhhh, yeah, right... :)

The trip was to visit my sister Rudi and my dearest friend Kim.
You can visit kim at:
www.frontdoorstudios.com
and see her art on facebook at her site
Kimberly Ramey Artist

The best part was lots of painting! Kim has the best studio space, inspiring
art all around, all the supplies needed, plenty of food and we had two very intertaining dogs.

Sister Rudi above.... working on an angel watercolor piece.

The conversation was wonderful and inspiring.
I love these two women with all my heart.

The above picture is the art studio floor. I was working on a masterpiece
and I was throwing paper all around the studio.
Kim was very cool about the mess. Actually, she made most of it...

The above picture needs no explanation....

This is a coffee and cookie break.
A LOT of coffee was needed.

The "walk about' in downtown Newnan. Did I mention I love this city?
The two pups are Toby (left) and Tula (on the right).
There will be a wedding soon... Love is blind, size doesn't matter.

I fell in love with this house. It just sold for $245 thousand dollars. WHAT??!!??
Yes, it is so. New roof, solid original wood floors through out, solid wood staircase... OMGOSH!
If only I had money to burn.

My love of cemetery angels.
This one was taken at the Newnan Cemetery.

Last photo today. My adorable (great?) niece Jessie (on the left),
my sister Rudi and Kim, standing in front of the Lion Statue at the
Atlanta Oakland Cemetery.
I not only love Newnan, but I also really love this group of great women.
Thank you for a  fabulous trip.
